Hello there!

My husband and I just got back from a family beach trip. We were very fortunate to have great weather. The beach looked spectacular, as always, and we had a great time. I came back inspired by the things I love about the ocean and created this two-canvas panel abstract.

The colors represent sandy beaches, pink and yellow sunsets, blue oceans, and beautiful twinkling stars that light up the night sky. This abstract painting pulls the beach experience together into a visual feast. I used texture, dry brushes and water to convey a love for God’s magnificent ocean. A creation so beautiful it continues to speak to me every time I go. The brush strokes show the wind blowing and also the stars lighting up the night sky. I think the beach always has the most beautiful skies.

Summer is coming to an end and we already are experiencing a big drop in temperature here in North Carolina. However, I’m sure the heat will return at least once before Fall fully takes over.
