Learning Self-Care and Studio Sneak Peaks

How did you spend your Valentine’s Day? This year I decided to take the day off and make it a self-care kind of day! I’ve realized that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance and flowers. The older I get, the more I realize that I need to slow down and allow God time and opportunities to love me so I can better love the people around me. I encourage you to take a day off and allow yourself to receive God’s love for you. You are worth it! After all, there is and will only ever be one of YOU! So, it’s pretty important to take good care of yourself. (And don’t ever feel guilty for doing so!)

Here is a sneak peak of what I have been working on in the studio:

I love painting on these thick canvases! The sides become part of the artwork and also allow the canvas to stand on a table top or be hung on a wall. I’ll be working on more of these and will post them in my online store when they are ready!
