The Creative Process
The creative process reminds me of the ebb and flow of the ocean. Sometimes the waves are calm and other times they are very big and wild. When I’m not feeling very creative, I like to use that space to be inspired by other artists and let their work speak to me. Other times, I feel so creative and have so much energy that I don’t have the capacity to get it all out (wild, big waves). When that happens, I write down what I’m thinking and put it into paint on the canvas later. These journal notes help me remove creative blocks down the road when I’m looking for more creative gas to get me going. You might want to apply this artist tip to your own creative process. All in all, it’s beautiful dance and I’m so thankful you are a part of it!
